How did I come to get on the net. Well that is what this post is going to be about.
For a number of years I thought about getting a computer and getting on the net. But a computer cost a lot of money and I did not have a money to buy one.

One afternoon I got a phone called from my home town of Havelock, Digby County, Nova Scotia. This is about 60 miles from where I live now. My younger brother was there and needed to get home but had no way home, so he phone me.

So I finished what I was doing and went down to get him. He was waiting at the old school, which now is a place where you can go and used a computer for free.

So after I got there, him and one of my cousins got me on the computer. This was a first time in my life that I had even been on the computer. This was in late 2004 or early 2005, if I am correct.

I was on the computer for about an hour or more. Had great fun getting a mouse to work for me. It went everywhere but where I wanted it to go. But I got on the net and then type in something to do with tropical fish. Look at a lot of fish sites.

So any where I decided that day that I would have a computer, some how.

"Me And The Internet Part 2"

So to begin where I left off in Part 1. I decided that day to get myself a computer.
I started looking at new computers but they all was to high price for me. So how was I going to get one, that was a question.

Was talking to a friend of my and he told me that he had just brought himself a brand new computer. He told me all about it. So then I ask him what he had done with his old computer. He reply that he still had it but would not be using it anymore.

I then told him that I was looking for a used computer. So he give me his old one. It was a window 95 but it works. Was able to get on the net with it. Had it for a month or so and it broke. So then I needed another computer.

So one day was down to my aunt place and was talking about computers. She said she had one but she never used it, her daughter had given it to her. She told me that I could have it if it was ok with her daughter. So I phone her daughter and she said yes, I could have it. So I got it and brought it home. It was a window 98. It works so-so but it lasted me awhile and then it broke. Would of cost to much to get it fix.

So again I was without a computer. Then I phone the computer shop and they had a nice window 98 quite cheap. But it was still to high for me but was talking to my brother about it and he said if I could come up with half, he would go half on it. So I had another computer!
This computer works good and it went about 6 months before it went on me. Would of cost to much to get it fix.

So once again I found myself without a computer. By this time I was to a point that I could not live without one.

Was talking to one of my friends and she told me that I could buy one from the phone company, even if I had no credit history. So home I came and phoned the phone company. About 2 weeks later the computer that I am now using came by truck.

So there you have it, the story about how I came to get on the net and get to where I now are.
