"THE GENIE"
As I was walking,
In the desert one day,
I seen the funny bottle,
Laying half buried in the sand.
I bend down and pick it up,
Then I wipe it clean,
To have a better look at it,
When all of the sudden, as if out of thin air,
A Jeannie appeared,
I look at her,
And asked where did you come from?
She replied, I came from that bottle,
For I am a Jeannie,
I asked, for where do you live,
I live inside of that bottle,
She replied, for that is my home.
She then said,
For letting me out of this bottle,
I will grant you three wishes.
I replied, can I asked for anything?
She replied, yes you can.
Then I look at her and said,
My wish is for you to be set free.
She replied, your wish is my command,
And there before my eyes,
Appear the most beautiful,
Red headed woman, that eyes had ever seen.
I then said, now you are free,
She looked at me and said,
Will you be my one and only?
For what is freedom without love.
I replied, your wish is my command.
Then away we went, together for ever more..

"The Mermaid"
As I was fishing,
In the ocean one day,
I got a bite,
I started to reel the fish in,
The fish did put up a fight,
But at long last,
I reel the fish in,
When the fish did get close to me,
I have seen that I had caught a mermaid.
She was laying,
There in the water,
All tried out from fighting for her life.
I look at her,
And then I told her,
Not to fear,
For I would left her go,
For I did not know,
There was a mermaid yet around.
I reach down in the water,
And very slowly remove the hook,
Their little mermaid I said,
You are free to go.
She looked up at me,
Then she climbs up on a stone,
And spoke to me, she did,
Because you set me free,
And I see that you,
Are a kind hearted man?
Who have no woman?
I will become your woman,
And there before my very eyes,
She turns into a woman,
A most beautiful woman,
That I had ever seen.
